Through Gabriela's Eyes - The Story of an ARTE Youth Leader
ARTE is proud to announce the release of a mini-film featuring Gabriela, one of our incredible ARTE leaders. Originally from Ecuador, Gabriela is an inspiring lawyer and artist interested in using her skills to fight against discrimination and gender inequity. In 2016, she was awarded the ARTE Cary Fukunaga Scholarship for her inspiring contributions within our program.
The movie was created by a talented documentary film team from the School of Visual Art's MFA program in Social Documentary Filmmaking: Rooj Alwazir, Bailin Li, Atarah Jeffers, and Tiantian Wang, through the support of Beth Levison, course instructor.
