Vision

 

The greater vision is to connect young people in the United States, with a special focus on recent immigrants, with other young people in partnering organizations across the globe, working on similar human rights issues in their own community.

 

Through online and other multimedia communication platforms, ARTE will help create a long-lasting youth-led movement to advance human rights and global democracy. In all of our projects, ARTE intends to provide a platform for young people to realize their human rights in an engaging and deeply impactful way.

 

As youth learn about their basic human rights through art, ARTE will help them build their capacities to take leadership roles in bringing awareness to human rights abuses to their peers, family members, and broader community.

 

We are firmly dedicated to cultivating the next generation of social justice leaders creating public works of art that seek to transform the way communities best understand and realize human rights in their own neighborhoods, and in the context of the greater global society.
