Ivan Rahman is a proud product of the Boogie Down Bronx. If you come near him, you might smell smoke, as his heart is on fire from trying to create game-changing opportunities for low-income youth. When he is not aflame, he leads a rather uneventful life occupied by cooking burgers, playing the guitar, running, and attempting to dance. Ivan is currently an MPA Candidate and a Gleitsman Leadership Fellow at Harvard University and an MBA Candidate at Stanford University. He holds a B.A. from New York University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the Relay Graduate School of Education.

Ivan's favorite artwork is Man Walking Dog in a Rainy Park by Tan Chun Chiu. Not only is Ivan an old man in spirit, but thinking about old age helps him keep things in perspective. Also, he absolutely loves animals, especially dogs. Finally, rainy weather reflects his overall laid-back and contemplative disposition.
