Grace Webster

Grace is a junior at New York University studying the intersection of social entrepreneurship, human rights and the social impact of art and technology. Her interest in social justice was born from a love of the outdoors which lead her to start dedicating her time to fighting against climate change. Her interests expanded when she started working for a human rights health organization, Dignitas International. She became committed to creating change for the health of Canada’s indigenous populations by supporting Dignitas. Now, she has discovered the powerful world of art and technology and how it can be used as a tool for creating change and stimulating important dialogues. This is what lead her to ARTE and she is excited to see where it will take her next. Grace spends her free time engaging youth on topics like personal identity, sexual education and gender equality and searching New York City for new artworks to fall in love with.
Grace's favorite art piece is: Agnes Denes’s Wheatfields for Manhattan, 1982.
